Saving the frescoes of our chapel

The West Ephorate of Antiquities participating in the celebration of the European Day of Conservation of European Heritage 2019 organized an event at the Acharnes Town Hall on Thursday, October 10th on "The contribution of conservation to the preservation of cultural heritage - the salvage interventions in the frescoes of St. John the Theologian in Acharnes.". Members of the pedagogical team and students of our school participating in our project, "A nod to our heritage", were present at the very interesting event concerning the chapel near the 1st High School of Acharnes. Students heard from experts how to rescue frescoes and watched related videos.
