The third LTT activity of the Erasmus+ 2018-1-ES01-KA229-050423 project “A nod to our heritage” is going to be held in Chamusca (Portugal) from 8th to 15th of February, 2020. Eight days in total – two days for the trip and six days for activities. There will be 9 students and 2 teachers from the Basque Country, 6 students and 2 teachers from Poland, 6 students and 3 teachers from Greece, as well as students and teachers from Portugal.

PROGRAM:

1st day (Saturday, 8th February)

• Transportation from the airport

• Meeting the host families (students); check in in the hotel (teachers)

 

2nd day (Sunday, 9th February)

• 09:00 - Arrival at school

• 09:30 – 13:00 Visit to the region (Ulme, Semideiro e Arripiado) with a guide, António Matias, a former History teacher at our school; the architectural patrimony (the tiles)

• 13:00 – 15:00 – Lunch for teachers and students

• 15:00 – 18:00 - Visit to Chamusca (the architectural patrimony)

 

3rd day (Monday, 10th February)

• 08: 20-10:10 - Attending classes (students)

• 10:10 – 11:30 Welcoming session at school

• 11: 30 -12:30 - Welcoming session by the mayor (in the local council)

• 13:00 -14: 30 - Lunch

• 14:30 – 16:10 – Students’ Presentations: Christmas traditions

• 16:30 – 18:00 – Teacher’s meeting/ students return to their host families

• 20:00 – Dinner (teachers)

 

4th day (Tuesday, 11th February)

• 8:20 – Arrival at school

• 08: 20- 9:05 - Attending classes (students)

• 9:10 – Departure to Golegã

• 10:00 – 11:30 – Visit to Carlos Relvas Museum

• 11:30 – 13:00 – Visit to Equuspolis

• 13:00 – 16:00 – Lunch, visit and folklore in the Rural Museum of Golegã

 

5th day (Wednesday, 12th February)

• 8:20 – Arrival at school

• 8: 30 - Day trip to Lisbon:

• 10:30 – Visit to the Oceanarium

• 12:30 - Light meal for teachers and students

• 14:30 – Visit to the Tile Museum of Lisbon

• 16:30 – Visit to Belém (sightseeing)

• 20:00 – Dinner (teachers); students return to their host families

 

6th day (Thursday, 13th February)

• 8:20 – Arrival at school

• 8: 30 - Day trip to Sintra:

• 11:00 – Visit to the National Palace of Sintra

• 13:00 - Light meal for teachers and students

• 14:30 – Free time in Sintra

•  20:00 – Dinner (teachers); students return to their host families

 

7th day (Friday, 14th February)

• 8:20 - Arrival at school

• 8:30 -12:30 - Workshop: painting tiles (students) / Teacher’s meeting

• 13:00 - Lunch

• 14:00 – 19:00 - Farewell party: traditional dances / Kahoot about the countries

• 20:00 – Dinner (teachers); students return to their host families
