The first LTT activity of the Erasmus+ 2018-1-ES01-KA229-050423 project “A nod to our heritage” is going to be held in Acharnes (Greece) from 12th to 19th of February, 2019. Eight days in total – two days for the trip and six days for activities. There will be 6 students and 2 teachers from Basque Country, 6 students and 2 teachers from Poland, 6 students and 3 teachers from Portugal, as well as students and teachers from Greece.

PROGRAM:

1st day (Tuesday, 12th February)

• Transportation from the airport

• Arrangement in families for students and in the hotel rooms for teachers

 

2nd day (Wednesday, 13th February)

08:15 Arrival to school

08: 30-10: 30 Welcoming programme (partners will present their schools and countries – 15 min more or less). Songs - dances

10: 30-12: 00 "Find what I'm hiding" a game for familiarization with the school premises.

12: 00-14: 10 Workshop "offerings to the dead"

14: 30-16: 30 Lunch for teachers

 

3rd day (Thursday, 14th February)

08:15 Arrival to school

8:15-9:00 Attending classes

9:05-11:30 Visit to the domelike tomb of Acharnes

11:30-13:30 Visit to the Archaeological Collection of Acharnes

 

4th day (Friday, 15th February)

8: 15-14: 30 Acropolis - Acropolis Museum – Plaka – Monastiraki – Syntagma

 

5th day (Saturday, 16th February)

8: 15-18: 00 Day trip to Epidaurus (ancient theatre) – Nafpio (first capital of Greek state)

7th day (Monday, 18th February)

8:30-11: 30 Visit to the Folklore Museum of Acharnes and the Orthodox Church Saint Vlassis.
