First stop at the Corinth Canal, photographs and a briefing on this important technical project. The next stop was at the port of ancient Epidaurus where hundreds of travelers arrived there with the final destination of the Asklepieion of the city. After a short tour of the area, we headed to our main destination, Epidaurus. The ancient theater impresses with its size, the perfection of construction and the unique acoustics. The Asclepieion, the stadium, the baths, the hostels reveal a high man-oriented culture and the quality of his life. Visiting such a place is a unique experience.
Continuing our day trip we headed to Nafplio. After a short lunch break, there is a guided tour of the old town of Nafplio, the first capital of the modern Greek state. The whole group, pupils and teachers enjoy the walk in the narrow streets of Nafplio and the harbor. Beautiful pictures accompany us on the way home.
