We celebrate carnival at school and also with groups of friends.Carnival is linked to religious traditions in the catholic church. In this video we try to show you how carnival was celebrated in The Basque Country some years ago. In this globalized world, our celebrations are becoming very similar but in this video we want to show things we have particularly done here in the Basque Country along the years.
Carnival time is celebrated in February or March, ir depends when lent takes place so it is a pagan celebration but the date depends on lent which is something Christian people celebrate.
